Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex role for couples at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, including managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Work pattern starts with nine days on, three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided along with comprehensive benefits. Requires 2+ years married, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth. Dual-employment, two-person role with equal responsibilities and dual applications required.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
