Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, coordinating schedules, budgeting and reporting, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role evolves from nine days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires two-spouse, married couples who are 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
