Job Summary
Houseparents for on-campus student homes: a two-person, married-couple role providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and managing household budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student-home assignment. Compensation includes salary per person (~$46,917) plus full benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, parental-aged two-spouse couple (both 27+), U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; two individual employment applications are required for consideration. Relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
