Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time Flex) at Milton Hershey School; couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, overseeing routines, medications, transportation to activities, and devotional/church activities, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Requires two-year married status, both spouses 27+, HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth; relocation to Hershey, PA provided; benefits include comprehensive coverage and housing. Salary: $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple). Both spouses must submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
