Job Summary
Houseparents: a two-person, Full-Time role on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Couples reside with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of household routines and student schedules. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older, and able to obtain driver qualifications for student transportation. This is a two-person, on-campus, in-person role with relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse eligibility with required two-person application
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
