Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Flex Houseparents on a Milton Hershey School campus, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting with household reporting. The position follows an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, before transitioning to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person with relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
