Houseparents, Full-Time - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) at Milton Hershey School. The two-person team resides in on-campus student homes and provides care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. They oversee budgeting and household reporting and begin on a nine-on, three-off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (about $168,000 total per couple when including housing and meals), comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Qualifications include experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old, with up to three dependent children permitted in the home. The role requires leadership in a family-like environment and adherence to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty, and completion of individual applications by both spouses.
