Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couple resides on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students; duties include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; salary is paid per person with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Possession of or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
