Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside on campus as Flex Houseparents, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and eventually transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. The position follows a nine-on, three-off schedule and includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
