Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples on a campus-based program. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement with the same student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, legal marriage of both spouses for at least two years, and both spouses age 27 or older. Relocation to Hershey, PA with relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, life, disability, retirement, and PTO. A valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, are required. This role emphasizes mentorship, safety, and student development within a faith-informed, drug- and smoke-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse (two-person) role for married couples
- Both spouses at least 27 years old
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
