Job Summary
Houseparents for Milton Hershey School (MHS): a two-person, married-couple, full-time role living in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off scheduling toward a Placed Houseparent model. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA for initial placement with eventual duties on campus, a high school diploma or GED, and both spouses being legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old, with a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to drive student vans. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, and paid time off. This is a two-person, on-campus position that includes housing and meals during duty periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment requirement

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
