Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School’s campus in Hershey, PA, living in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The position begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple student homes, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. The role includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse eligibility requirement with individual applications for consideration
- Experience working or volunteering with youth (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA if not already residing on campus
