Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, overseeing routines, medications, transportation to activities, and planning developmentally-focused programming. They lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, manage budgeting and household reporting, and progress from initial multi-home assignments to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group, all within a structured, family-like environment. The position requires a two-person, legally married couple (both spouses 27 or older) to live on campus, participate in training, and relocate as needed to support student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Must complete individual employment applications (both spouses)
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
