Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on campus in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a consistent Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training are provided. Both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the household
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
