Job Summary
Two-person, fully on-site Houseparent couple will reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, coordinate and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and eventually transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. The role operates on a nine-on, three-off schedule during initial placement, with opportunities for relocation and ongoing on-campus duties; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans, and a two-year married-spouse commitment with both spouses aged 27 or older.

- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
