Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School located on campus. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Compensation around $46,917 per person (~$180,000 per couple plus benefits), plus relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
