Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents needed to live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA area (relocation to Hershey, PA required). The role is a two-person couple position; the spouses reside with a group of 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, mentorship, oversee household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training. Requires living on-campus, a strong commitment to student development, and the ability to work as a married two-person team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
