Job Summary
Houseparents needed for Milton Hershey School: full-time Flex Houseparents who are married couples living on-campus in student homes, supervising and supporting 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. After initial nine-on/three-off duty cycles, couples may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $46,917 with total compensation near $180,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid time off. Requires experience with youth, a two-person married couple arrangement, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus conduct and religious guidelines. Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying to Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
