Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time Flex) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, a two-person married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes. Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, supervise wellness including medication administration, transport students to activities, plan and lead development/recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance. Initially work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation to campus, on-campus housing, meals while on duty, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
