Job Summary
Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in on-campus student homes. The two-person role for married couples involves living on campus, supervising and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development, and coordinating routines, devotions, chapel attendance, activities, budgeting, and reporting. The position starts with a nine-days-on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Chapel services
- On-campus residency requirement
- Planned driving of students to activities
- Ability to manage household routines and student schedules
- Facility to oversee budgeting and household reporting
