Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental activities and daily devotions, and oversee household routines and reporting. The role follows a nine-on, three-off cycle at start, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits, plus relocation assistance and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and eligibility for driving certification; must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and with up to three dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
