Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time) live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. The role operates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and relocation assistance. A two-person, married-couple arrangement is required, with both spouses completing individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
