Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-Time Flex) for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, with duties including daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, budgeting, and leading devotions; initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, followed by transition to a Placed Houseparent, with relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA as part of role
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications
