Houseparents, Full-Time - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Houseparents for Milton Hershey School are a two-person married couple serving as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. They reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and initially working a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed Houseparent role. Qualifications require youth-work experience or volunteering, a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans, comfort leading devotions and Chapel services, and high school diploma or GED; candidates must be a legally married two-spouse team, with both spouses aged 27 or older, and comply with campus policies (no more than three dependent children, smoke-free and weapon-free environment, limited pet policy).
