Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person role) live on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision, routines management, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-days-on/three-days-off duties to a stable placement with the same students. Requires a two-person, married-couple setup, on-campus living, and compliance with campus safety and religious guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Living on-campus in on-site homes
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Follow safety and confidentiality policies
