Job Summary
Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, evolving into a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, and the compensation per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
