Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes and supervising ~8–13 students. Duties include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
