Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and oversight of routines for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving and coordinating activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a safe, structured home environment. The role is a two-person, couples-based position with an initial nine-on/three-off duty cycle, transitioning into a placed houseparent role with long-term housing within the student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance provided; paid training and comprehensive benefits included. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications. Location: Hershey, PA, US.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Desire to lead students in devotions and chapel
- Ability to drive student vans
- Experience with youth
- Complete individual employment applications by both spouses
Additional Requirements
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
