Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in Hershey, PA, overseeing a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
- On-campus residence and live-in duties for student homes
- Ability to follow a structured, family-like household routine
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications
