Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-Time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students living in the home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse employment applications (both spouses must apply)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Prohibition of alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two-person married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
