Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Live on campus and supervise 8–13 students in a home setting, provide guidance and supervision, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a flexible placement to a stable houseparent assignment. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; nine days on, three days off initially, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
