Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially supporting multiple student homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, they will eventually transition into a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation includes salary per person plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA or provide on-campus housing as part of the role
