Job Summary
Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive and accompany students to activities and chapel, and lead daily devotions; two-person married couple role with nine-on/three-off schedule, potential transition to placed houseparent in same student home; relocation to Hershey, PA may be required; benefits include salary per person, comprehensive coverage, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
