Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role for married couples residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and transitions to a placed Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation assistance provided; salary per person about $46,917 with comprehensive benefits and housing included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two spouses married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Protestant/Judeo-Christian chapel attendance facilitation (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
