Job Summary
Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples living on-campus in student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, managing budgets, and reporting. The role involves a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle initially, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires experience with youth, high school diploma or GED, both spouses to be age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
