Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus in student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Initially 9 consecutive days on duty followed by 3 days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student group in their own home. Benefits include salary per person plus full benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated ability to lead students in devotions and chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
