Job Summary
Houseparents, Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, supervising routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, the role follows a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with full compensation for both spouses and comprehensive benefits. Eligible candidates are a legally married two-person team, age 27+, with a HS diploma or GED and US driver’s license, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and capable of driving student vans; prior youth-program experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
