Job Summary
Two-person, Full-Time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; requires a legally married couple, both spouses aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED and ability to lift 50 lbs. Desirable experience includes youth work and driving responsibilities; on-campus, family-like environment with a focus on student development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples
- Legally married for at least two years
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
