Job Summary
Flex Houseparents are a two-person married couple living on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from initial nine-on/three-off schedules to a Placed Houseparent role. The role emphasizes on-site, family-like care, on-campus housing, religious/devotional activities, youth supervision, and safeguarding student wellness. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and full-time commitment; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Salary is $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple with benefits). This is a two-person, fully on-campus, on-site position with relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to live on-campus in student homes
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
