Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle, and will transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Safety, integrity, and professionalism are emphasized as core requirements for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse, two-person role
- Two spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children reside in the student home
- Proselytizing prohibition (leading devotions and chapel participation acceptable)
