Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to reside on-campus, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Location is on-campus in Hershey, PA relocation noted in posting; compensation is $44,768 per person with total couple compensation around $168,000, plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Couple must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must apply
