Job Summary
Houseparents for two married spouses serving as Full-Time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent assignment living and working with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, and paid training with comprehensive benefits and housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-year marriage
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Eligibility to become certified to drive student home vans
