Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent couple on-site at Milton Hershey School provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple student homes and progresses toward a Placed Houseparent assignment with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
