Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married individuals) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role initially operates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed Houseparent with the same students. Location-based duties include on-campus living with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
