Job Summary
Houseparents (two-person, married-couple) at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a flex-houseparent to a placed-houseparent role. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with a restricted, family-like living environment. The role emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and serving as a positive role model for students; relocation assistance is provided, and compensation is approximately $46,917 per person (around $180,000 total per couple). Required Qualifications
