Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents responsible for on-campus supervision and mentorship of approximately 8–13 students, planning and guiding daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role within student homes. The role is based on an on-campus residence in Hershey, PA, with relocation support provided; candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and must operate within a home environment that supports student development and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to reside and work in on-campus homes with students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the home
