Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) live on campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and managing household budgeting and reporting. The role involves a nine-day-on, three-day-off cycle with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance is provided and two spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse employment application submission (both spouses must apply)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Two-person role for couples (married for at least two years)
- No more than three dependent children reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation provided and paid training
