Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and supporting multiple homes with a path to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students. The role requires a married couple (at least two years) who are both 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, a U.S. driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; relocation assistance is provided. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Comply with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
- Commitment to on-campus residence in student homes
- Complete individual employment applications (for both spouses)
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Requires relocation to Hershey, PA area
- On-campus housing and schedule (nine days on, three days off)
