Houseparents (Full-Time) for Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance to groups of 8–13 students, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive to activities, and lead devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning later to a placed houseparent in a consistent student home. Responsibilities include mentorship, budgeting and reporting, planning developmental and recreational activities, ensuring student wellness, and fostering a structured, family-like environment to support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
