Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, fully-employed couple) reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $46,917 (≈$180k total per couple with housing/meal benefits), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- Must be a legally married couple
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
